Art Asylum posted more images of the upcoming Marvel Select figures of the Mark 42 and War Machine. These were designed by Gentle Giant based on digital data from the film, and will stand approximately 7.5-inches tall with 16 points of articulation. Each will come with an armor bay diorama base and will exclusively be available at comic shops and specialty stores starting this summer.

MTV Geek pulled yet another scoop this weekend, getting the first shots from Diamond Select Toys’ Iron Man 3 Minimate set. The assortment of 2-inch mini-figures will include four 2-packs, two exclusively at comic shops and specialty stores, and two shared with Toys “R” Us. War Machine with Maya Hansen and Aldrich Killian with Cowboy Tony Stark will only be available on the comic specialty market, while Iron Man with the Mandarin and Iron Patriot with a top-secret figure will be shared with Toys “R” Us. Still under embargo are two more sets made exclusively for Toys “R” Us. Those will be revealed later. Plus, there will be an exclusive box set, available at a retailer still yet to be announced. Each Minimate stands 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation and a variety of removable and interchangeable parts and accessories.

With Iron Man 3 hitting theaters in May, we’re starting to see a bunch of new action figure product pics on the web. Entertainment Earth has put up for pre-order the first series of 3.75-inch Assemblers. The limbs on each figure swap with the others in the line, so you can customize and create your own armored suit for Tony Stark. Expect to see Iron Man Mark 42, Starboost Iron Man (White/Gray), Iron Patriot (Blue/Silver/Red), Stealth Tech Iron Man (Black/Champagne), Hypervelocity Iron Man (Gunmetal), and War Machine Movie (Black/Silver) at your local retail outlet starting in March.

Three months… that’s how long we have to wait to see Tony Stark flying around in his latest armor on the silver screen. To help whet our appetites for more Marvel movie goodness, the folks over at Hot Toys have released these new pics of the latest 1/6 scale action figure to feature Robert Downey Jr’s likeness. The new toy has a light-up chest function, a newly sculpted articulated body, and enough accessories to build your own hi-tech workshop. You can pre-order it here or wait until it ships in August.
