We got a look at the new 12-inch electronic Snake Eyes action figure from the Retaliation toy line. Adult collectors may want to steer clear of it, but the kids will probably dig this Joe with swinging arms and sound effects.
He may not have much to say, but this faceless ninja will slice his way through evil if the situation calls for it. Now, you can take home this 1/6 scale version of Snake Eyes from the next G.I. Joe film. He sports his “military ninja” bodysuit from the movie, multiple points of articulation, swappable hands, two katanas, two knives, a pistol, a submachine gun and a display base. He’ll swing into action in May or you can pre-order him here. Hot Toys is also promising to make 1/6 scale figures of Joe Colton, Roadblock and Storm Shadow in 2013.
This weekend at Joe Con in New Orleans, Hasbro showed off several upcoming figures. A few of the highlights included a new Cobra Night Landing Alpha vehicle set with an Eel, a Cobra Combat Ninja, Crimson Guard, a Night Viper, Ultimate Duke (with Channing Tatum’s likeness), Ultimate Firefly, Ultimate Snake Eyes With Timber, The Cobra Invasion Team 3-Pack and the G.I. Joe Tactical Ninja Team 3-Pack. More figures and vehicles will be officially announced at Toy Fair in February.
Here are three more packaged pics from the upcoming movie line of toys. Zartan, Roadblock and Snake Eyes each come with a special weapon or feature. These will be on shelves in May.
