Happy 30th birthday
Return of the Jedi. You finished off the initial Star Wars trilogy with great gusto and a satisfying ending for Anakin Skywalker. To celebrate, Sideshow Collectibles has created a new 1/6 scale action figure of Darth Vader. This Sith Lord features a fully articulated body, fabric body suit and cape, detailed armor and gloves, head with helmet and mask, an additional Anakin head, detailed chest and belt boxes, interchangeable hands, a light saber, light saber handle, light-up display base, a light-up meditation chamber display base for his helmet and mask, and a severed arm stub. Earlier this month we told you about the new DC Universe series of 1/6 scale figures from Sideshow Collectibles. The company has now released new pics of its first character in the line, The Joker. The regular version of the clown prince of crime will feature two head sculpts, playing cards, a straight razor, dynamite, a lighter, revolver with BANG! flag, a tailored fabric costume, cane, multiple hands, and a display base. Most 1/6 scale action figures stand around 12-inches tall. This one is a bit shorter. The creature who taught Luke Skywalker how to be a Jedi knight will soon get a deluxe action figure from the fine folks at Sideshow Collectibles. He’ll come with two heads, a cloth costume, a lightsaber, a cane, swappable hands and feet, a jedi bar stool and comfy space age Laz-Y-Boy chair. As part of their
12 Days of Sideshow promotion, Sideshow Collectibles showed off these new pics of the upcoming line of DC Comics 12-inch figures. The company didn’t give any other details about the new line other than these pics, but we should hear something soon.
