ED-209 from NECA ED-209 from Toy Fair 2013
NECA gave Figures.com the exclusive on the latest version of this upcoming Robocop nemesis.  On the left you’ll see the updated ED-209 and on the right you’ll see its reveal from Toy Fair 2013.  The main difference seems to be the paint job and new decals.  The figure should have working hydraulics on the legs (up and down motion) and articulation in the arms, legs and feet.  According to reports from Toy Fair, it’s close in scale to NECA’s 7-inch scale Robocop figures, with the company shooting for a $50 price tag. This urban police enforcement bot will be authorized to use force sometime this summer.

San Diego Comic Con Exclusive Jason from NECA
The 1989 Nintendo adaption of Friday the 13th had a high difficulty level.  While the LJN produced cartridge has been ranked as one of the worst horror games of all time ( ”The Wrong Kind of Scary: Worst Horror Games Ever” Game Informer October 2008.) it was a huge seller.  NECA will resurrect the purple jumpsuit version of Jason at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, complete with glow-in-the-dark mask, hands, feet, machete and ax head.  The 7-inch scale exclusive will come in a special window box packaging with opening flap to re-create the look and feel of the classic 1989 Friday the 13th video game packaging.
