Due to the inability to work a WordPress site, the Toy Fair 2013 line has been leaked! Very excited, loving ALL of the reveals. Even NA He-Man!
MattyCollector.com has officially announced that Castle Grayskull is a go. The company reached the minimum order goal and will produce a new 6.5-inch scale playset for its Masters of the Universe Classics line of toys. The original 1981 prototype will serve as the basis of the design, with the addition of an extra battle ledge, elongated jaw/face, a removable minaret on top of the dome and more. The set will cost He-Man fans $250 and arrive in the later part of 2013. It’s up for pre-order here until January 4.
Matty Collector made three big Masters of the Universe Classics announcements this weekend at New York Comic Con. 1) Everyone’s least favorite version of He-man will get a new figure.“New Adventures” He-Man will come with his sword, shield and a new space Bandelier armor. He will represent the third quarter 2013 variant figure. 2) The only African-American Master of the Universe will make his debut in the Classics line. Clamp Champwill ship as the July 2013 figure of the month with new armor and his clamp weapon. 3) Pre-orders start Tuesday, October 16 for the new Castle Grayskull. If the set reaches its target goal of pre-orders it will ship in late 2013. The plans for the fortress are still being finalized, but Matty is hoping the $250 price tag won’t be too much to dissuade He-Man fans from ordering it.
Skeletor’s arch-nemesis will soon star in his very own iOS game. He-Man: The Most Powerful Game in the Universe follows the hero of Eternia through 7 side-scrolling beat’m up levels. Look for familiar bad guys like Merman, Beastman, Trap-Jaw, Hordak and others to make an appearance along with good guys like Man-At-Arms and Orko. It’s set to release this fall.
