Gears of War 3 Series 2

The heroes from Gears of War 3 have returned in a second round of 3.75-inch action figures.  NECA has included Marcus Fenix, Augustus Cole (Cole Train) and Dominic Santiago (Dom) in the wave.  These meatheads feature more than 20 points of articulation, their accessories from the game and blister card packaging.  Look for these to hit toy shelves in June.

The third installment of Gears of War gets a third wave of figures featuring Journey’s End Marcus Fenix, an all-new COG Soldier, and two versions of the Savage Theron. These should be showing up at your local retail outlet now. NECA has also announced that there will be a new wave of figures based on the upcoming Gears of War prequel. Hopefully we’ll be hearing more about that soon.

Dumb question here, but does the Gears of War 3 Elite Theron have any relation to Charlize Theron? Why do you look at me that way? Nevermind… Anyway, NECA has revealed this figure as another one of its Comic-Con exclusives. This 7-inch soldier features a Torquebow and 14 points of articulation. Pick it up during Comic-Con at NECA’s booth for $25.
