Mad Monster Figure Series 1

As a throwback to the 8-inch Mego action figures of the 70′s, Figures Toy Company plans to release a limited run of these Mad Monsters.  Dracula, Wolfman, a Mummy and the Frankenstein monster feature 16 points of articulation, cloth costumes and removable clamshell packaging.  Also the company will release a faithful replica of the 1974 Mad Monster Castle Playset that Mego produced.  All of these are up for pre-order at BigBadToyStore.com with a release date in the fourth quarter.

Universal Monsters Wave 3

Diamond Select Toys has enlisted the talents of EMCE Toys  to sculpt another round of 8-inch retro monster goodness.  This latest wave features The Bride and The Creature from the Black Lagoon, complete with cloth costumes, 14 points of articulation and clamshell packaging.  These will release in October for less than $20 each.
