LEGO’s Deluxe Ewok Village

1,990 pieces, 17 minifigures, and hours of building fun… LEGO showed off its new Return of the Jedi set from the planet of Endor.   The new Ewok forest dwelling comes packed with a tree-trunk hideout, secret Lightsaber stash, spider web, net traps, slide, catapults, an elevating throne, a rammer function to take out the Scout Trooper’s speederbikes,  rope walkways, vine and leaf elements, kitchen, a food storage area, bedroom and a planning room.  R2-D2, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, 2 Rebel soldiers, 5 Ewoks (including Wicket, Teebo, Chief Chirpa and Logray), 2 newly designed Scout Troopers and 2 Stormtroopers come packed as well. It will go on sale here in the states in September.

Walter White Summer Exclusive

This summer Mezco Toyz will release a limited number of deluxe Walter White action figures. This Breaking Bad anti-hero will feature his hazmat suit, a fifty-gallon chemical drum, a trio of lab containers, a scale replica of his makeshift flyswatter, glasses and a collector-friendly package with a Los Pollos Hermanos slipcover. The set is limited to 1500 pieces and can only be purchased here.

Deluxe Darth Vader

Happy 30th birthday Return of the Jedi.  You finished off the initial Star Wars trilogy with great gusto and a satisfying ending for Anakin Skywalker.  To celebrate, Sideshow Collectibles has created a new 1/6 scale action figure of Darth Vader. This Sith Lord features a fully articulated body, fabric body suit and cape, detailed armor and gloves, head with helmet and mask, an additional Anakin head, detailed chest and belt boxes, interchangeable hands, a light saber, light saber handle, light-up display base, a light-up meditation chamber display base for his helmet and mask, and a severed arm stub.  He’s up for preorder now with an arrival date of January.

His friends and family in Biloxi call him Marvin F. Hinton.  His fellow G.I. Joes know him as Roadblock.  This heavy weapons expert from the latest Joe film will soon get the 12-inch deluxe treatment courtesy of Hot Toys.  The figure features Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s likeness, more than 30 points of articulation, three pairs of interchangeable hands, a military uniform, black t-shirt, two holsters, a pair of brass knuckles with attachable, daggers, knife, baton, and pistols, 1 handgun with silencer, a machine gun, wristwatch, electronic device and display base.    He’ll enlist for duty in the fourth quarter of the year or you can preorder him here.
