These two guys make look familiar as NECA has already produced 7-inch scale versions of them. Soon they’ll be blown up into 19-inch action figures. The Big Red Predator inspired by the classic fan film Dead End and the Elder Predator coming from Predator 2 each feature interchangeable hands, weapons and body netting. They will begin hunting their prey in August or you can preorder the pair here.
If this Predator doesn’t look familiar, don’t feel bad. The design is based on one of the entries from the old Kenner toy line. NECA released this pic through its Twitter feed yesterday. He will come with a removable mask and a skull staff. Look for Series 10 to hit toy shelves in August.
Every Predator needs a place to call his own. Where else can he hang his most prized trophies? NECA has heard the pleas from fans of its various Predator-themed toy lines and created this. There aren’t a lot of details right now about this new 7-inch diorama play set that the company unveiled at this year’s Toy Fair in New York, but as soon as we get some pre-order info, we’ll let you know.
After the success of the Classic Predator and Predator 2 1/4 scale figures, NECA plans to produce a new Unmasked City Hunter and the Guardian Predator from Predator 2. Each figure stands over 20-inches tall and features more than 25 points of articulation, cloth fabric netting, interchangeable hands and throwing discs. The Unmasked City Hunter comes armed with collapsed spear with the Guardian Predator sports a telescoping extending spear. Each is strictly limited to a run of 5,000 pieces. Look for these two this month or you can pre-order them here.
