Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America make up the Marvel Super Heroes side of Lego’s Ultrabuild series. Each Avenger is fully customizable with swappable parts and multiple points of articulation. If you want to see what one of these Ultrabuild figures looks like in action check out our Lego Batman review. These will arrive in May.
I’m still not sure which Lego line is more awesome: the Marvel or DC Universe. On one hand you have this sweet movie poster from the upcoming Avengers film done completely in Lego. I would gladly watch that movie. On the other hand, we have the new box art to the Lego Batman sequel for the XBox 360. I want to play that game very much. I’m curious to know what you think:
Care to take a guess who the villains of the new Avengers movie will be? Sure, we’ve heard that the Skrulls will be along for the ride this summer and we’ve even seen some evidence. Now we get a new possibility with the release of these Avengers toy pics from Lego. None of the bad guys contained in the sets for Captain America’s Avenging Cycle, Hulk’s Helicarrier Breakout, and the Quinjet Aerial Battle seem to resemble the shape-shifting aliens responsible for the Secret Invasion storyline. These sets will hit retail in May.
