While we don’t actually see this version of War Machine in action during
Iron Man 3, it does serve as the basis for the much more colorful Iron Patriot. Hot Toys will give the Mark II the diecast 1/6 scale treatment complete with light-up function on the head and chest, 36 points of articulation, three pairs of interchangeable hands, a rotating machine gun on the shoulder, a special light-up figure stand and a Sideshow Exclusive: Holographic War Machine Mark I accessory. That’s some heavy metal. Rhodey’s alter ego will ship in February or you can preorder him

Hot Toys released this pic on its Facebook page of the new 1/6 scale Mandarin action figure from Iron Man 3. There were no other details to accompany the picture other than this:
As the Iron Man 3 movie is starting to hit theaters worldwide, Hot Toys is in the process of creating collectible figurines for a number of armors that are introduced in the film. However, armor suits are not the only thing we are working on. A formidable foe of Tony Stark is also on our list!

One of the many, many armors from
Iron Man 3 will soon get the 1/6 scale treatment from Hot Toys. The Mark 35 armor or Red Snapper has been included in the Power Pose line of toys. This emergency rescue suit stands more than 12 inches tall, features 15 points of articulation, has extended arms and movable claw-like hands, LEDs on the eyes, chest and hands, and a figure stand. Also, you can swap the head and arms with some of the other Iron Man figures in the Hot Toys line. It will begin to ship in the 4th quarter of this year or you can preorder it
here.

With Iron Man 3 about to hit theaters, Hot Toys posted these three pics on its Facebook page. The Heartbreaker will join the Diecast line while Igor will get the MMS treatment. Hot Toys will produce the Red Snapper for its articulationless Power Pose Series. The company didn’t announce when we’ll see more pics of these 1/6 scale toys or when they will be available, but we’ll keep you posted.
