New DC Collectibles Figs on the Way

DC Comics fans can expect to see new deluxe action figures soon featuring New 52 versions of Deathstroke and Swamp Thing.  The world’s greatest mercenary will come with 3 new accessories with a release date in December.   The deluxe protector of the green will have poseable wings, a removable shield, sword and 23 points of articulation.  Look for him in December.  Also we have two bad guys from the upcoming Arkham Origins game.  These 7-inch scale figures of Joker and Bane will go on sale in October.

DC Super-Villains Deathstroke

DC Collectibles revealed its first character from the upcoming 6-inch scale Super-Villains line, Deathstroke.  The company hasn’t released any other details other than this pic on its Facebook page.  We’ll keep you updated on this new wave of bad guys as new information comes out.

SDCC Exclusives from DC Collectibles

USAToday.com got the first look at DC Collectibles’ offerings at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.  We’ll get an Aardman version of Superman ($24.95), a three-pack of Super Best Friends Forever figurines ($49.95), an Arkham City Hugo Strange action figure ($29.95) and a “Superheroes of Green Lantern” four-pack of 3.75-inch scale bad guys ($49.95).  This year’s event will take place July 18 through Sunday, July 21.

Arkham Origins Batman and Black Mask

Thanks to DC Collectibles, we’re getting our first look at two character designs from the next Batman video game. Batman: Arkham Origins will serve as a prequel to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.  In this game, Black Mask places a bounty on the young crime fighter’s head with assassins like Deathstroke out to collect.  Both of these 7-inch figures will make up the first wave.  Batman and Black Mask are both up for preorder or you can wait for them to release in October.
