Celebrate the holidays with Yoda, Hasbro has new G.I. Joe Renegades figures on the way and the Italian Stallion returns to toy shelves. This is Articulation Times.
Based on a 1981 greeting card design from Lucasfilm and Ralph McQuarrie, this Holiday Yoda features a fully articulated body, a hand-painted head, sculpted hat, fabric jacket and pants, belt, cane, ball, sculpted alphabet block and stack of toys with a fabric drawstring sack. It’s up for pre-order at Sideshow Collectibles for $74.99.
Medicom Toy, in collaboration with Bandai and Sideshow Collectibles will soon ship this 1/6 scale Naruto Shippuden figure to the states. This fully articulated figure features real fabric clothing, interchangeable hands and a swappable head. It will arrive in the first quarter of 2012 for $229.99. It’s up for pre-order here.
Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts line gets another Dragon Ball Z addition. It features an array of effects parts, interchangeable hand and face pieces and a display stand. Bandai developed the figure specifically for US fans based on the feedback from a Tamashii Nations fan survey. Sideshow Collectibles has the exclusive on distribution with a release planned for the second quarter of 2012. It’s available for pre-order here.
