Here’s another San Diego Comic Con exclusive from Mattel. The cloning tank includes Superboy plus 3 telepathic Genomorph-Gnomes. With the press of a button, the inside of the cloning tank lights up a glowing blue. This show-accurate figure recreates the scene from the pilot episode when Robin, Aqualad, and Kid Flash discover the mysterious Project Kr, where the Light has commissioned “The Weapon.” This version of Superboy will be available at SDCC, then on MattyCollector.com for $20.
Mattel announced this figure will be a San Diego Comic Con exclusive. It features her royal green dress, scepter and sword, plus an interchangeable space helmet head, rifle and blaster pistol to transform her back into her fighting days as Captain Glenn, Heroic Galactic Adventurer. As a bonus, Queen Marlena includes Cringer. Marlena will be packed as Queen Marlena Heroic Queen of Eternia for SDCC, then as Captain Glenn Heroic Galactic Adventurer for Mattycollector.com after the show. She will sell for $25.
Last night Mattel revealed its plans for San Diego Comic Con on Attack of the Show. In the video you will see previews of Kilowag, Swamp Thing, a super-articulated 6-inch Voltron, and a huge Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
