The other bounty hunters refer to Zuckuss as “the Uncanny One.” This ammonia-breathing tracker holds a secret though. He has an affinity for The Force. Gentle Giant digitally scanned a mint 3.75-inch Kenner original to act as the basis for this big guy. Using roto and injection molding, this 12-inch bounty hunter has been faithfully reproduced and comes with a blaster rifle. The release also features a 1980 Empire Strikes Back-inspired blister card and “45 back” artwork, along with a re-sealable plastic outer clam shell. The guy who created The Walking Dead also wrote wrote a superhero saga entitled Invincible. Robert Kirkman told the story of a half-alien hero living in the shadow of his famous father. Invincible recently passed its 100th issue, and Diamond Select Toys plans to commemorate the occasion with a box set of Minimates. Invincible, Atom Eve, Omni-Man and Allen the Alien will each stand 2-inch high and feature 14 points of articulation. Look for these to release in October.

Figures Toy Company will unleash a second wave of “World’s Greatest Heroes!” figures. Featuring classic Batman characters, each new 8-inch toy is an exact replica of its original ’70s counterpart, right down to the cloth clothing, retro-styling and 16 points of articulation. Back in January at the UK Toy Fair, Underground Toys announced that they were planning to produce a new line of smaller Doctor Who action figures. Now were getting a look at the first wave of 3.75-inch characters including The Doctor, Clara, an Ice Warrior, a Dalek, a Weeping Angel and the latest version of the Cybermen. With the exception of the Dalek, each character will come with its own display base. This new wave will arrive here in the states in July or you can preorder the set here.
